LA County Crime⁉️
A mailer paid for by the Ventura County Republican Party prints an uncredited news story of a residential burglary in order to support Jeff Gorell and oppose Claudia Bill-de la Peña for Ventura County Supervisor.
However, this burglary occurred in Los Angeles County.

The 32000 block of Fallview Road is not in the City of Thousand Oaks, so it's unclear how this crime is the fault or responsibility of Thousand Oaks Councilmember Bill-de la Peña. Neither would it be the fault or responsibility of Gorell being that he was the Deputy Mayor of the City of Los Angeles until January of this year. Following the county Republicans' logic, these would be the politicians responsible.
Although it is sometimes confusing which side of the county line you're on, remember that sales tax here in Ventura County is 7.25% while it's 9.5% in the Los Angeles County based City of Westlake Village.
Abe says, "Also remember that electing Gorell would change the balance of the Board of Supervisors to a 3-2 Republican majority, even though it is supposed to be a non-partisan office."
