Who Said the American Dream is Dead⁉️
A letter to the editor in the Ventura County Star backing Matt Jacobs for Congress claims that, "Anti-American career politicians keep telling us that the American dream is dead."
This is doubtful.
Actually, Donald Trump famously said, "Sadly, the American Dream is dead." Here is his 2015 announcement that he was running for president of the United States; it's at the end at 45:00.
Jacobs's website uses identical language as this letter, too, making the same claim that, "... anti-American politicians keep telling us that the American Dream is dead.." Who does he mean?
That's not the only line in the letter that is identical to Jacobs's website. Here's another one:
"Ventura County deserves to be represented by someone, like Matt, who believes in the goodness of our people and the greatness of our country."
Abe says, "For someone who says they believe in the goodness of our people and the greatness of our country, Jacobs doesn't appear to believe in our intelligence."
